What You will Be Doing

Position Overview:
The BI Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support Arrow’s business insights and analytics needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of business intelligence, data analysis, and visualization principles, with good experience in working with data modeling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain BI reports, dashboards and data models, to provide actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Integrate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud-based services, into cohesive BI reports.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reports and dashboards.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive strategic business decisions.
  • Optimize BI solutions for performance and usability.
  • Develop and maintain data models to support efficient querying and reporting.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use BI tools and reports.
  • Stay updated with the latest BI features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis and reporting
  • Strong proficiency in BI tools (preferred Power BI)
  • Proficient in SQL and database management systems.
  • Understanding of digital business operations and metrics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Azure Databricks familiarity or prior use
  • Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik – preferred Power BI).
  • Experience with extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of Salesforce data into BI systems
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R.
  • Understanding of machine learning and predictive analytics.
  • Domain or functional knowledge in either finance, Banking or Supply chain is must
