About the Role

The Associate Stock Analyst will play a critical role in the administration of eBay's global equity programs, including Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) and other stock awards. This position is responsible for daily operational processes, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and providing excellent first-level support to employees.

What You'll Do

Grants Administration

  • Prepare new hire grant data and Unanimous Written Consent (UWC) for approval by the CEO, CLO, or CPO.

  • Upon approval, upload grant details to Equity Edge Online (EEO) and etrade.com.

Daily/Weekly Data Review and Validation

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly data integrations between Workday, etrade.com, and Equity Edge Online (EEO), and validate records (e.g., Fair Market Value - FMV).

  • Resolve integration issues promptly by collaborating with internal and external partners.

Employee Support and Workday Cases

  • Serve as the first level of response and triage for stock-related employee questions submitted through Workday Help, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

RSU Release Support

  • Support RSU Releases by completing data analysis and validation across etrade.com, Equity Edge Online (EEO), and the Global Equity Tracker (GET), including but not limited to:

    • FX rate calculations.

    • W-8BEN Completion verification.

    • Account activation status.

    • Foreign Disbursement coding.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Support Stock & Equity team leads with monthly global payroll reporting, including, but not limited to:

    • RSU taxation.

    • Dividend equivalent payments.

  • Support Stock & Equity team leads with monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory and tax reporting, including but not limited to:

    • China SAFE.

    • Thai Securities.

    • Malaysia Tax.

  • Monitor and report incoming wires for stock and tax payments.

  • Manage data workflows, including processes for Mobile Employees.

Must complete CEP (Certified Equity Professional) Level 1 within 18 months of employment.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong analytical and data validation skills, with proficiency in working with large datasets.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

  • Comfortable with Google workspace, Microsoft Office Suite and basic AI tools (ChatGPT and Gemini)

  • Experience with Workday, Equity Edge Online (EEO), or similar equity administration systems is a plus.
