The Role
- Define and own the overall ServiceNow platform architecture and roadmap.
- Lead solution design across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, and other ServiceNow modules.
- Establish development standards, governance models, and best practices.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing platform solutions.
- Architect complex integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, middleware, ERP systems).
- Provide oversight for CMDB strategy, data architecture, and platform health.
- Guide upgrade strategy, release management, and platform lifecycle management.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor developers and administrators; provide technical leadership and design authority.
- Evaluate new ServiceNow capabilities and provide recommendations for adoption.
- Support audits, security reviews, and compliance initiatives.
Who You Are
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development and administration.
- 3+ years in a ServiceNow Architect or Lead Developer role.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow architecture, data model, and application framework.
- Deep knowledge of ITSM processes and platform best practices.
- Experience with integrations, APIs, MID Server, and external system connectivity.
- Advanced scripting experience (JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, Flow Designer).
- Strong understanding of CMDB design and governance.
- Experience designing solutions in large enterprise environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- Experience with multi-instance strategy and domain separation.
- Knowledge of ITOM (Discovery, Event Management), ITAM, HRSD, and CSM.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF).
- Experience leading large-scale ServiceNow transformations.
- ITIL v4 certification.
- Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments.
